Star Spangled Fourth - Lights on the Lake!

Come out and enjoy the largest synchronized fireworks display west of the Mississippi. Launched from an offshore barge, the fireworks are visible from all vantage points of the South Shore...including the lake. Starting at approximately 9:45 p.m. prepare yourself for light explosions that will indeed inspire awe among visitors and residents alike.

South Shore's sandy beaches offer ideal viewing, as do the M.S. Dixie II and Tahoe Queen paddle wheelers. The fireworks soundtrack is broadcast on local stations KRLT-FM 93.9 and KOWL-AM 1490. Come out and take in the holiday with friends and family here on Lake Tahoe's South Shore.
